Lesson 4 of 8

Save candidates from LinkedIn and Naukri

The free browser extension adds a profile to your Olibr database in one click — no copy-pasting.

5 minbeginner

Recruiters spend hours copying profiles from LinkedIn and Naukri into spreadsheets. The Olibr – Candidate Capture extension does it in one click. Saving is free, and it works on Chrome, Edge and Brave.

  1. 1
    Install it

In Olibr, open Browser Extension and click Install from Chrome Web Store. Then click Add to Chrome → Add extension.

  2. 2
    Pin it

Click the puzzle-piece icon in your browser's toolbar and click the pin next to Olibr – Candidate Capture, so it's always one click away.

  3. 3
    Connect it to Olibr

Click the Olibr icon, then Connect to Olibr. A tab opens and closes on its own. You stay connected for 30 days.

  4. 4
    Save a candidate

Open a LinkedIn profile, a Naukri Resdex profile or one of your Naukri job applicants, click the Olibr icon, check the details and click Save as Candidate. The profile and the CV are saved to your Candidates list.

    Save a candidate

Good to know

  • Open a person's profile first — search results pages can't be saved.
  • Naukri auto-save: tick Auto-save Naukri profiles I open and every Naukri profile you open is saved in the background, CV included. It only saves profiles you open yourself; opening a profile still uses your own Naukri credits.
  • Fetch Email / Fetch Phone looks up contact details: ₹5 per email and ₹10 per phone found, and nothing if nothing is found.
  • Already in your Olibr? The profile is refreshed, not duplicated.
The two auto-save switches at the bottom of the extension. (Sample candidate.)

Tip

Every profile you save counts toward your monthly contribution, auto-saves included — see Duplicates and your monthly 50. A few minutes a day on LinkedIn or Naukri covers it.
