Lesson 3 of 5
Duplicates and your monthly 50
Which profiles count toward your contribution — and why someone already on Olibr usually doesn't.
3 minbeginner
Your monthly contribution — 50 profiles per active user — is about adding new people to the shared talent pool. So Olibr checks every profile you add against the pool.

| When you add… | Does it count? |
|---|---|
| Someone new to Olibr | Yes — however you add them (CV upload, CSV, extension, Naukri auto-save, Desktop Importer or by hand). |
| Someone already on Olibr | No — they stay in your Candidates list and are marked already on Olibr. |
| Someone already on Olibr whose profile is 6+ months out of date, with your fresh CV | Yes — your copy brings their profile up to date, so it counts as a refresh. |
| Someone who signed up and looks after their own profile | No — their own profile is never overwritten. |
Good to know
Duplicates are never wasted: the candidate is still yours to work with, and the contribution strip on Candidates shows how many of this cycle's adds were already on Olibr.
Tip
The quickest way to new profiles: the Desktop Importer and Naukri auto-save.
