Lesson 1 of 5

AI interviews, explained

Let AI run the first-round interview for you. Candidates take it when it suits them; you get a score and a summary for each.

5 minbeginner

A first-round phone screen takes 20–30 minutes per candidate, plus the time spent arranging it. With 50 applicants, that's two full working days. An AI interview does that first round for you.

How it works

  1. 1
    You set up the interview

Pick the job, choose what to assess and how long it should be. Olibr suggests questions; you can edit them.

  2. 2
    Candidates get an email invite

Each candidate gets a link and takes the interview in their browser whenever suits them before the deadline you set.

  3. 3
You get a report for each person

A score out of 100, a recommendation and a written summary of their answers — so you only spend your own time on the most promising people.

What it costs

Each AI interview costs ₹99 from your wallet. If an interview fails on our side, you aren't charged. Add funds from the ₹ balance at the top of any page — see What you pay for.

AI helps you decide — you still decide

Use the score to choose who to talk to first, not to reject people automatically. Read the summary, and listen for anything the questions might have missed.

Tip

You can also invite people straight from Applicants: tick candidates on a job and click AI Interview.

Now try it yourself

Open the screen this lesson covers and follow along. It takes less time than reading.
