Lesson 2 of 3

Playbook: screen 200 applicants in an hour

Got flooded with applications? Use filters, dealbreakers, match scores and AI interviews to get to a shortlist fast.

  1. 1
Let the dealbreakers work (5 minutes)

If your job has dealbreaker questions, people who didn't qualify are already under Auto-Rejected. Glance at that chip to make sure the rule isn't too strict.

  2. 2
    Sort by Match (10 minutes)

In Applicants, sort by the Match column. Skim the top 40; click the eye icon to see why each scored as they did.

  3. 3
Bulk-invite to an AI interview (10 minutes)

Tick the promising ones and click AI Interview. They'll take it in the next two days while you get on with your work.

  4. 4
    Close the loop (10 minutes)

Tick clearly unsuitable applicants and click Reject, then Send Email with your polite rejection template.

  5. 5
Come back to reports (25 minutes, two days later)

Read the AI interview reports and move your top 5–8 to Scheduled.

Watch out

Don't reject on the match score alone. People with unusual backgrounds often score lower and turn out to be your best hires — give them a quick look.
