Wear Plate Machine Operator

Role Description The Wear Plate Machine Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur. The individual in this role will operate wear plate machinery and related equipment, set up machines according to job specifications, and monitor operations to ensure accurate cutting, shaping, or processing of materials. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting materials before and after processing, performing basic adjustments, and coordinating with supervisors or team members to meet production targets. The operator will also carry out routine cleaning and minor maintenance of machines, follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements, and assist in organizing tools and materials in the work area. Accurate documentation of production activities and timely reporting of issues or defects are also part of this role.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and working with industrial Machinery.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including inspecting finished parts and ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Candidates should possess skills in using Hand Tools for basic adjustments, maintenance, and material handling.
• Candidates should possess Communication skills for coordinating with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication environments is beneficial.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and ability to follow standard operating procedures is preferred.
• Ability to read basic measurements, interpret simple technical instructions, and stand for extended periods is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent, and prior experience as a machine operator or similar role, are advantageous.
