Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite US Workers Compensation policies as per underwriting guidelines
• Assess risk exposure and determine appropriate coverage, terms, and pricing for new business and renewals/existing business
• Review submission application including loss runs, financials, census, operational details and evaluate the risk
• Ensure compliance with underwriting standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams (brokers, agents, operations)
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of underwriting decisions, activities, and communication for auditing purposes
• Maintain documentation and ensure accuracy in policy issuance
• Support renewals and endorsements

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of US Workers Compensation underwriting principles
• Experience with underwriting platforms or rating tools
• Good analytical and decision-making skills
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CPCU / AINS / AU will be an added advantage
