Role Description The Traffic Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for monitoring and coordinating daily traffic and routing activities to ensure efficient movement of vehicles and shipments. The Traffic Specialist analyzes traffic patterns, updates schedules, and adjusts routes to minimize delays and optimize utilization. Responsibilities include communicating with drivers, operations teams, and customers to provide timely updates and resolve routing issues. The role also involves maintaining traffic records, supporting adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and assisting in implementing process improvements in logistics and traffic management.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Traffic Management and Traffic Engineering skills to plan, monitor, and optimize vehicle routes and flows.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify bottlenecks, and propose effective routing solutions.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with internal teams, drivers, and clients.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in logistics, transportation, civil engineering, or a related field are beneficial.
• Proficiency in traffic or fleet management software, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site operations environment are preferred.
• Knowledge of local traffic regulations, safety standards, and prior experience in logistics or transport operations in Gurugram or similar urban areas is an advantage.
