Transformer Capacity: Up to 10 MVA

Location: Chh. Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Testing and commissioning of power transformers up to 10 MVA
• Conduct routine, type, and pre-dispatch transformer testing
• Handle IR, ratio test, winding resistance, BDV, vector group, and oil testing
• Prepare testing reports and quality documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards
• Coordinate with production, quality, and project teams
• Troubleshoot transformer testing and performance issues
• Additional Testing Responsibilities:
• Insulation Resistance (IR) Test using Megger
• Winding Resistance Test (HV/LV)
• Turns Ratio Test (TTR)
• Voltage Ratio Test
• Magnetic Balance Test
• Vector Group Verification Test
• Short Circuit Test
• Open Circuit Test
• DVDF (Double Voltage Double Frequency) Test
• High Voltage (HV) Withstand Test for HV/LV Windings
• Transformer Oil BDV (Breakdown Voltage) Test✅ Required Skills:
• Knowledge of transformer testing procedures and instruments
• Experience in industrial electrical projects preferred
• Ability to read electrical drawings and test reports
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills
• Team handling and site coordination experience

Mandatory Requirement

Candidate must bring along a team of at least 20 to 25 Electrical Workers/Labours for project execution work.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering
• Relevant transformer industry experience mandatory
