System Engineer Network

Strategy

· Support in the development of a group-wide network strategy based on the OneIT goals.

Project / change management

· Support in project work for the further development of the network & IT security infrastructure

· Assumption of subproject manager tasks

· Compliance with the requirements for the use of the service management tool and change management board

Operations / Service

• Strong knowledge of WiFi technologies (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and wireless network troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, including Extreme Networks NAC, Aruba ClearPass, and Cisco ISE.
• Hands-on experience with wireless controllers, including Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Extreme Networks Wireless Controllers.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewalls, including firewall policy management, NAT, VPN configuration, security profiles, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of VLANs, Switching, and Routing concepts.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, and Network Security.
• Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related incidents and performance issues.
• Experience configuring, managing, and supporting wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of network monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience with network change management, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.

For this position, we require a successfully completed degree in computer science or comparable professional training in the IT environment, as well as at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of network engineering and security.
