ABOUT THE CLIENT’S COMPANY

Our client is a leading F&B brand known for its high-quality products and strong market presence across retail outlets, delivery platforms, quick commerce, and e-commerce.

With over three decades of legacy and state-of-the-art manufacturing, they are in a phase of dynamic growth, modernizing their operations to serve millions of customers while maintaining their core value of excellence.

  • Work with platform supply and category teams to resolve stock-outs and delivery quality concerns.
  • BUILD THE LOGISTICS STRATEGY FOR QUICK COMMERCE
  • Plan the PAN-India distribution network, from production hubs to quick commerce warehouses across multiple hubs and cities.
  • Decide what to outsource, whether to move to a hub-and-spoke model as volumes grow, and which logistics and warehousing partners to use, keeping fulfilment cost under control.
  • Build a state-wise festival and demand calendar (e.g., Durga Puja, Onam, Pongal) and plan stock and transport capacity well in advance, with backup plans to avoid last-minute, high-cost options.
  • MANAGE LOGISTICS VENDORS AND PARTNERS
  • Source, onboard, negotiate with, and manage multiple transporters, courier partners, and 3PLs at the same time.
  • Monitor vendor performance, delivery timelines, and freight costs, and ensure agreed SLAs are delivered.

  • MANAGE STAKEHOLDERS AND BUILD FOR SCALE
  • Work closely with the leadership team, production, warehouse, sales, and finance teams to keep supply and demand in sync, and build strong relationships with quick commerce teams and logistics partners.
  • Share regular updates on supply chain performance and costs with leadership.
  • Plan supply chain capacity for the next stage of growth, and build a team as the function scales.
