Role Description The Storyteller – Writer is a full-time, on-site role located in Egra, responsible for developing compelling narratives and written content across multiple platforms. Day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing story ideas, outlining and drafting narratives, revising content based on feedback, and ensuring consistency in voice and tone. The role involves collaborating with other creative and project stakeholders to align stories with broader themes, campaigns, or organizational objectives. The Storyteller – Writer will also conduct basic research to enrich story details, maintain organized drafts and notes, and meet scheduled delivery timelines. This position requires active participation in creative discussions, workshops, and review sessions to improve story quality and audience impact.

Qualifications

• Strong storytelling and narrative development abilities, with the capacity to craft engaging plots, characters, and settings.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, including clear grammar, structure, and attention to detail in written work.
• Ability to conduct research to support story authenticity, cultural accuracy, and contextual depth.
• Creativity and imagination, with a demonstrated capacity to generate original ideas and adapt them into coherent narratives.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, including openness to feedback and constructive critique.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Comfort working on-site in Egra in a team-oriented environment; prior experience in creative writing, journalism, scriptwriting, or related fields is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Literature, Creative Writing, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
