Sr Database Administrator | Bengaluru- Onsite | 5+ yrs

• DBA experience in a production environment
• Extensive experience in SQL in Oracle, MySQL and other RDBMS.
• Experience managing business critical production databases in a Cloud environment.
• Experience using Data modeling and database design, performance tuning, optimization, schema creation and management.
• Strong skillset with RedHat Enterprise Linux, shell scripting, and Linux security.
• Familiarity with database design patterns, data analytics, and data-oriented frameworks.

Preferred

• Experience in version controls such as SVN, Git, Stash
• PL/SQL programming experience
• Strong backup and recovery skillsets for multiple platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, AWS RDS, etc.
• Experience using development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, SQL Server data tools, and any other SQL development tools.
• Excellent Analytical, Problem Solving skills, strict attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as work within a team environment
• Experience with NoSQL technologies: Snowflake, MongoDB, AWS datalake, AWS Glue.
• Experienced with IaC using ansible, terraform, or cloudformation.
• Experience in the retail industry, e-retail, big data.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Able to travel national and international if the situation requires it.
