We’re Hiring: US Accountant 🇺🇸

📍 Location: Jalandhar, Punjab (On-site)

🕒 Shift Timing: 7:30 PM – 4:30 AM IST (Night Shift)

💼 Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated US Accountant to join our team in Jalandhar. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of US accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, along with a strong commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for US clients.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and financial records.
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with applicable US accounting standards.
• Work with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure the confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in US accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and basic US accounting practices.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines during the US night shift.
