Software Engineer (Junior) / Vibe Coding Specialist

Arcus & Co. is a boutique private capital and corporate advisory firm operating in fund formation, fund finance, and structured and capital markets mandates across the UK and Europe.

The Product

Arcus is building an internal deal-operations platform used by its advisory team to manage fund formation timelines, fund finance and facility tracking, and mandate workflow. The platform is in an early stage of development.

The Role

We are hiring a junior software engineer to build this platform. The role is remote, full-time, and open to candidates based anywhere in India.

The scope is broad: you will be building core features from an early stage, working directly with the internal users of the platform, and contributing to technical decisions as the product's foundation is established.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features across the platform: workflow tracking, document and data handling, internal dashboards
• Work directly with the advisory team using the platform
• Own features end to end: implementation, testing, and post-release fixes
• Contribute to technical and architectural decisions during the platform's early build-out

Requirements

• 1 to 4 years of professional experience, or equivalent demonstrated through personal or open-source projects
• Full-stack capability, or the ability to work competently across both frontend and backend as required
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and workflows
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
• Strong written communication
