Site Engineer (Civil)- Calicut- Freshers

Job Summary

The Civil Telecom Site Engineer is responsible for supervising all civil construction activities at telecom sites. This includes site surveys, foundation casting, tower erection, structural retrofitting, and managing subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and according to telecom engineering standards.

Responsibilities

Site Surveys & Feasibility: Conduct initial Technical Site Surveys (TSS) to assess soil conditions, layout constraints, and structural feasibility for new builds or upgrades (colocations).

Civil Works Supervision: Oversee excavation, reinforcement (rebar) placement, and concrete pouring for tower foundations, equipment pads, and generator plinths.

Tower & Structural Erection: Supervise the safe erection of various tower types (monopoles, self-supporting lattice towers, guyed masts) and rooftop pole mounts.

Quality Control (QC): Perform concrete slump and cube tests, verify structural verticality (torque and tilt testing), and ensure materials meet technical specifications.
