Senior Structural Engineer

Role Description The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for leading structural design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day duties include preparing and reviewing structural calculations, developing design details, supervising CAD drawings, and coordinating with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to resolve technical issues. The role involves reviewing construction drawings, conducting design checks, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers and drafting teams. The Senior Structural Engineer will also support site teams with technical clarifications, review material specifications, and participate in quality and safety assessments. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ludhiana.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with experience in building and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Structural Analysis and complex engineering calculations for steel, concrete, and composite structures.
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and coordination of detailed structural drawings.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Familiarity with relevant national and international design codes and standards (e.g., IS codes, Eurocodes, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and safety considerations.
• Prior experience in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects in an on-site environment is highly beneficial.
