Senior Project Manager-Fire Fighting | Goregaon

Key Responsibilities

 Project Planning and Management

o Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, budgets, and

resource allocation.

o Lead project kick-off meetings, ensure scope clarity, and set milestones for

project delivery.

 Fire Fighting System Oversight

o Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of fire protection

systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, and suppression

systems.

o Ensure all fire systems comply with local, national, and international fire

safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, BS, or local regulations).

 Resource Management

o Allocate and manage resources effectively, including labor, materials, and

subcontractors.

o Ensure proper coordination between mechanical, electrical, and civil

disciplines.

 Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination

o Collaborate with clients, consultants, vendors, and authorities to ensure

smooth project execution.

o Manage contracts, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor third-party

service providers.

 Quality and Safety Compliance

o Implement and enforce strict quality assurance and safety protocols.

o Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure project and safety

compliance.

 Budget and Cost Control

o Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and control costs without

compromising quality.

o Provide regular financial and progress reports to senior management.

 Risk Management

o Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

o Resolve project issues promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns.

Qualifications and Experience

 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, MEP/Fire Protection Engineering,

or a related field.

 10+ years of experience in project management, specifically in fire protection and

firefighting systems.

 Proven track record of managing large-scale fire system installation projects in

commercial, industrial, or residential sectors.

Skills and Competencies

 In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems, safety codes, and regulatory

standards.

 Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team

collaboration.

 Proficiency in project management tools and software.

 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on quality, safety,

and deadlines.
