Senior Production Manager

Morni is looking for an A-player to own production at our Jaipur Spacebase.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to take high-quality garments from production plan → floor execution → QC → packing → shipment — and build the systems that make that flow reliable at scale.

You’ll be working directly with the founder and leading production alongside a team of around 20 people, while helping Morni serve high-end boutique brands and individuals around the world.

What You’ll Own

• Run the day-to-day production floor and keep people, priorities, materials, and information moving clearly
• Manage and delegate work across pattern, tailoring, embroidery, finishing, QC, and packing
• Ensure garments ship on time and at a consistently high quality standard
• Build and enforce SOPs for production, QC, handoffs, reporting, and shipment
• Create clear dashboards + reports that show production status, bottlenecks, delays, output, and quality issues
• Flag problems early: with solutions, not surprises
• Maintain strong control over WIP, deadlines, dependencies, and accountability
• Improve systems continuously as the team and order volume grow

Morni’s production model already depends on structured QC, milestone-based updates, and clear internal escalation between design, production, and QC.

Who We’re Looking For

• Proven experience producing and shipping high-quality garments
• Strong team manager who can set expectations, delegate clearly, and follow through
• Highly organized and comfortable with trackers, dashboards, calendars, and reporting
• Strong command over garment construction, production flow, QC, and finishing
• Someone who sees issues before they become emergencies
• Comfortable making decisions independently and escalating when needed
• Disciplined about process: you don’t just create SOPs, you make sure they are followed
• Calm under pressure, direct in communication, and accountable for outcomes
• Ambitious enough to help build a production operation that can scale far beyond where it is today

This Role Is Not For Everyone

This is not a passive coordination role.

We need someone who can walk onto a production floor, understand what is happening, know what should happen next, assign responsibility, and then make sure it actually gets done.

Morni is growing quickly, and this position can grow significantly with it.
