Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery times. Manage all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Oversee relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring performance standards are met. Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Implement and leverage logistics technology solutions to enhance visibility, efficiency, and tracking capabilities. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost per unit, and inventory accuracy, implementing improvements as needed. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and customs requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain execution. Manage the logistics budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring efficient resource allocation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function, identifying and implementing best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management. Proven experience managing large-scale logistics operations, including warehousing and transportation. Strong understanding of logistics software, WMS, TMS, and ERP systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to manage third-party logistics providers effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Experience in the e-commerce or retail sector is highly desirable. Knowledge of the logistics landscape in Kochi, Kerala . Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
