Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on national and international energy policies. Evaluate the effectiveness and implications of existing and proposed energy regulations. Develop data-driven policy recommendations and present them to key stakeholders. Model the economic, environmental, and social impacts of various energy policy scenarios. Write high-quality reports, policy briefs, and articles for publication. Engage with policymakers, industry leaders, and academic experts to gather insights and build consensus. Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and challenges in the global energy landscape. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the strategic direction of the policy research unit. Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and conferences. Requirements Master's or Ph.D. in Public Policy, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field with a focus on energy. Minimum of 6 years of experience in energy policy analysis, research, or consulting. Proven ability to conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis. Deep understanding of energy economics, market structures, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting complex information clearly. Strong research methodologies and data management skills. Experience in stakeholder engagement and consensus building. Familiarity with energy modeling software and techniques is a plus.
