Senior Design Engineer (Electrical)

Job Description – Senior Engineer- Design

• Lead electrical design engineering activities for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review SLDs, load schedules, cable schedules, lighting layouts, earthing, and power distribution designs.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit, transformer, and DG sizing calculations.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate electrical designs with civil, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable IS, IEC, IEEE, NFPA standards and client specifications.
• Review vendor drawings, equipment datasheets, technical submittals, and engineering documents.
• Conduct design reviews, identify design issues, and provide effective technical solutions.
• Support project execution, testing, commissioning, and resolution of site-related electrical design issues.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and project teams to ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–15 years of relevant experience in Electrical Design Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical system design, calculations, engineering documentation, and design coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of, Revit/BIM, and Dialux is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards, design practices, and engineering principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
