Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer will lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Cuddalore and involves supervising project teams, reviewing drawings and calculations, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and validating civil engineering designs, overseeing site activities, resolving technical issues, and optimizing stormwater management and other infrastructure systems. The Senior Civil Engineer will also contribute to project planning, cost estimation, quality control, and timely reporting to management and clients.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering, with the ability to lead complex infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring Civil Engineers and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proficiency in Planning for infrastructure projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and cost estimation.
• Hands-on experience in Stormwater Management and related drainage systems design and review.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Relevant professional certifications or licenses in civil engineering are highly beneficial.
• Ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, design and analysis tools).
• Solid understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards applicable to projects in Cuddalore and surrounding regions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and project deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams on-site.
