Role Description The Legal Advocate will provide legal representation, advice, and support to clients on a variety of civil and criminal matters. Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, preparing case files, filing petitions and applications, and appearing in courts and tribunals as required. The role involves conducting legal research, interpreting statutes and case law, and advising clients on contractual agreements and legal affairs. The advocate will also engage in negotiation and settlement discussions, maintain accurate case records, and collaborate with other legal professionals within the association. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Osmanabad, requiring regular presence at local courts, offices, and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Law and Legal Affairs, including knowledge of relevant statutes, procedures, and case law.
• Candidates should possess skills in providing Legal Advice and counseling clients on their rights, obligations, and legal options.
• Candidates should possess the ability to draft, review, and interpret Contractual Agreements and other legal documents.
• Candidates should possess effective Negotiation skills for handling settlements, disputes, and client representations.
• Licensed to practice law with enrollment in the relevant Bar Council; membership in or eligibility to join the Osmanabad Bar Association is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in applicable local languages and English.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, work ethically under pressure, and maintain client confidentiality.
• Prior courtroom experience, familiarity with local legal procedures, and a commitment to continuing legal education are beneficial.
