Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in accounting, reconciliation, MIS reporting, and statutory compliances. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in balance sheet finalization, GST audits, and handling Income Taxrelated matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounts reconciliation (bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company).
• Prepare and finalize Balance Sheet and Trial Balance on a periodic basis.
• Generate Monthly MIS reports and provide financial analysis to management.
• Handle GST compliances, including returns, reconciliations, and coordination with GST department during audits.
• Respond to Income Tax notices, queries, and assessments.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal teams for financial reviews and audits.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Finalization of Accounts
• Expertise in GST, Income Tax, and statutory compliances
• Proficiency in MIS reporting and financial analysis
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally / ERP systems)
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Good communication and coordination skills

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CA (preferred)

Experience Requirement

Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation
