Job Description

  • Over 4 years of relevant experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Good experience in creating both analytic and planning data modelling (Data Modelling).
  • Story building experience with Smart Insights and Smart Discovery.
  • Familiarity with Data Sphere management.
  • ETL (Extraction, Transfer, Loading) knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Experience in performing what-if analysis and value driver tree simulation.
  • Experience in advanced planning functions like data actions, allocations, distributions and spreading.
  • Forecasting skills including combining actuals plus plan, predictive forecasting, and trend analysis.
  • Exposure in setting up import & live connections to various sources like BW, BPC, HANA, Universe, SuccessFactors, etc.
  • Experience in writing data back to Standard BPC, Embedded BW & S4HANA.
  • Certification in SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Good knowledge in BW Modelling.
  • Good knowledge in HANA Modelling (Native HANA or BW powered by HANA).

Job Responsibilities

  • Proficient in visualizations and their usage such as charts, tables, maps, filters, dropdown menus, hiding functions, interactive objects, and pictures.
  • Familiarity with analytic applications and analytic designer, including screen layout, widgets, and custom scripts.
  • Experience with SAC as a planning tool, creating planning data models, and working with categories like actual, budget, planning, forecast, and rolling forecast.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a systematic approach.
  • Extensive experience in data modelling and preparing datasets, including merging, appending, custom hierarchies, custom calculations, groupings, formatting values, data wrangling, dimensions, and measures.
  • Proven ability to interact with cross-functional and client business teams to gather business requirements and provide appropriate business solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
