Position: Sales Manager Mild Steel Trading

Department: Sales & Marketing

Location: Mumbai & Other Metropolitans

Reporting To: Head MS Sales

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets in the Mild Steel trading segment.
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities for MS Flat & Long products.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
• Handle sales of Mild Steel products such as MS Plates, MS Sheets, MS Coils, MS Pipes, Structural Steel, TMT Bars, and related products.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and commercial agreements with customers.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing to maximize sales opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and monthly sales plans.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and resolve customer complaints effectively.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining profitability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• BBA / MBA - Sales & Marketing Preferred. Engineering graduate.
• 510 years of experience in Mild Steel trading/sales.
• Strong knowledge of Iron & Steel products and its market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and lead a sales team.
