Role Description The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Patiala. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, answering questions about items and promotions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Daily responsibilities include stocking shelves, rotating inventory, checking product dates, maintaining clean and organized aisles, and setting up displays. The Sales Associate also operates the cash register, processes payments, handles returns or exchanges in line with store policies, and supports loss-prevention practices. The role requires close collaboration with other team members to ensure adequate stock levels, smooth store operations, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide courteous, patient, and professional customer service, including clear communication and active listening.
• Basic retail and sales skills, such as handling cash transactions, operating a point-of-sale (POS) system, and managing product displays.
• Strong attention to detail for stocking, labeling, price-checking, and monitoring product quality and shelf life.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move products, and perform routine cleaning and organizing tasks safely.
• Reliable time management skills, including punctuality, following schedules, and meeting daily task expectations.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team and follow store policies and procedures.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills; prior experience in retail or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
