Role Description The Restaurant and Bar Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing daily operations of both the restaurant and bar. This includes managing staff schedules, supervising service standards, and ensuring smooth coordination between the kitchen, bar, and floor teams. The Manager will monitor inventory, place orders for food and beverage supplies, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. The role involves handling guest inquiries and feedback, resolving service issues, and driving sales through promotions and upselling. The Manager will also support recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members, as well as tracking performance metrics and assisting with budgeting and cost control.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess food and beverage knowledge, including menu understanding, bar operations, and basic mixology concepts.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with staff, engaging with guests, and reporting to management.
• Candidates should possess training and coaching abilities to develop team members and maintain consistent service standards.
• Candidates should possess sales and upselling skills to promote menu items, drive revenue, and support business growth.
• Relevant experience as a restaurant or bar supervisor/manager in a hospitality setting is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of basic budgeting, cost control, and inventory management principles is beneficial.
• A hospitality management diploma or degree, or equivalent experience, is an advantage.
