Role Description The Research and Development Engineer – Product Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves conducting research to identify product opportunities, developing and refining product concepts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as design, manufacturing, and quality assurance. The engineer will plan and execute testing protocols, analyze performance data, and translate findings into design improvements and technical documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing R&D activities, supporting product lifecycle stages from concept to launch, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the product development pipeline.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Research and Development (R&D) and Product Development for engineering or technology-based solutions.
• Strong Analytical Skills supported by hands-on experience in Research, including data interpretation and problem-solving.
• Experience in Testing methodologies, validation processes, and evaluating product performance against specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Product Design, or related field).
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with industry standards, prototyping tools, and documentation practices relevant to product development.
• Detail-oriented mindset, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Prior experience in a product development or R&D environment, particularly in consulting or technology-driven sectors, is an advantage.
