Reporter

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reporter role based in Guwahati. The Reporter will identify and develop healthcare-related stories, gather information from multiple sources, and conduct interviews with professionals, patients, and other stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include researching topics, writing clear and accurate news articles, and producing multimedia content such as photos, videos, or audio clips when required. The role involves verifying facts, adhering to editorial guidelines, collaborating with editors and other team members, and meeting regular deadlines. The Reporter is expected to maintain professional relationships in the field, stay informed about local and national healthcare trends, and represent Wellesta Healthcare with integrity.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills for developing accurate, engaging healthcare stories.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Candidates should possess Multimedia skills, including basic proficiency in using digital tools for photos, video, or audio content.
• Relevant experience in journalism, media, or healthcare reporting is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Guwahati, manage deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong ethical judgment, attention to detail, and familiarity with media law and journalistic standards are advantageous.
