Regional Operations Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Regional/Cluster Manager to manage last-mile delivery operations, rider supply, fleet performance, and operational efficiency across multiple cities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in logistics, hyperlocal delivery, quick commerce, or e-commerce operations, with a strong understanding of delivery partner management and regional operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end last-mile delivery and fleet operations across multiple cities.
• Drive rider acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, and productivity.
• Ensure adequate availability of active delivery partners to meet daily order demand.
• Monitor operational KPIs, including orders per day (OPD), active riders, rider productivity, utilisation, on-time delivery, fulfilment rates, cancellations, and delivery costs.
• Lead and coordinate with City Managers, Fleet Managers, and other operations teams to achieve regional targets.
• Develop strategies to improve rider availability, reduce idle time, and increase delivery efficiency.
• Monitor city-wise operational performance and take corrective action wherever required.
• Manage delivery partner engagement and resolve operational challenges affecting rider retention and performance.
• Analyse operational reports and performance data to identify gaps and implement process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, service-level agreements, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate workforce planning and rider deployment according to demand fluctuations and business requirements.
• Improve delivery partner productivity while maintaining service quality and cost efficiency.
• Prepare regular performance reports and provide updates on regional operational progress.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and improve customer experience.
• Travel between Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad as required for operational reviews and team management.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 5-8 years of experience in last-mile delivery, hyperlocal logistics, quick commerce, e-commerce logistics, or a related operations role.
• Strong hands-on experience in rider supply management and delivery partner operations.
• Experience managing a large rider network, including recruitment, onboarding, activation, retention, and productivity.
• Prior experience handling regional, cluster, or multi-city operations.
• Experience leading City Managers, Fleet Managers, or similar operations teams.
• Good understanding of last-mile delivery metrics, fleet utilisation, fulfilment, on-time delivery, and operational cost management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Willingness to travel across Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad when required.
• Candidates from hyperlocal delivery, quick commerce, food delivery, e-commerce logistics, and last-mile fleet operations will be preferred.
