Recruiter – Talent Acquisition

About the Role

We are looking for a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage end-to-end recruitment activities. The ideal candidate should be able to understand different job requirements, identify suitable talent, assess candidates effectively and build positive candidate relationships.

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, thoughtful and proactive, with the ability to understand situations, make sound decisions and work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand job requirements and translate them into effective candidate sourcing and screening strategies.
• Source, screen and shortlist candidates through job portals, professional networks, referrals and other channels.
• Conduct initial candidate interactions to assess skills, experience, communication, attitude and role fit.
• Clearly understand both the requirements of the role and the expectations of candidates, ensuring alignment between the two.
• Coordinate interviews and manage the candidate journey from initial contact through selection and onboarding.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future requirements.
• Maintain recruitment data, candidate records and regular hiring updates.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and provide relevant market and candidate insights.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in Recruitment / Talent Acquisition, preferably in the IT or technology sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with candidates at different levels.
• Good judgment and the ability to understand people, roles and organizational requirements.
• Strong analytical and thinking ability with a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently with minimal handholding and supervision.
• Good sourcing, screening, coordination and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with recruitment portals, LinkedIn and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
