Purchase Manager (Textiles)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations for our textile business. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality fabrics and garments, managing supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and maintaining optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Source fabrics, garments, and raw materials from reliable mills, manufacturers, and wholesalers.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and credit terms to secure the best commercial deals.
• Track market trends, seasonal demand, and customer preferences to guide inventory planning.
• Coordinate with floor managers and warehouse teams to monitor inventory turnover and prevent stockouts.
• Inspect inbound stock quality and handle returns or replacements for defective materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a purchase manager or procurement executive in the textile/apparel sector (5–15 years preferred).
• Strong network of textile suppliers and fabric vendors.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of retail billing, ERP, or inventory management software.
