Purchase Engineer - Trainee

We are urgently hiring for the position of Purchase Engineer - Trainee at our manufacturing facility located in Pawane MIDC, Turbhe (Navi Mumbai). This role is ideal for B. Tech/B.E. graduates who are freshers and eager to build a career in the field of Purchase and Procurement. As a Purchase Engineer - Trainee, you will be responsible for preparing purchase orders in the system and issuing them to suppliers. You will negotiate quotations and finalize Annual Rate Contracts, ensuring that we secure the best possible terms for our procurement needs. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain import documents, as well as coordinate with banks for Letter of Credit (LC) documentation. Maintaining purchase master data and records is crucial, as is handling the procurement of miscellaneous items for various projects and service requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining physical and hard-copy purchase and import documentation, following up with suppliers to ensure material readiness and timely delivery, and preparing general letters and inter-office memos. We are looking for an energetic, proactive, and enterprising engineering graduate who possesses strong English communication skills and is interested in contributing to our machinery manufacturing environment. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from 3.00 LPA to 4.20 LPA, depending on the knowledge and caliber of the candidate.
