Job Description: Project Head - Highways (General Manager) Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end execution of highway construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and site management for seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and financial forecasts to senior management.
• Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualification and Skills

• B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 15 to 22 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on highway projects.
• Proven expertise in project/initiative management, including planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, safety standards, and regulatory compliances.
