Product Owner (Cross-Border Payments & Delivery Management) - Chennai

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 8-10+ years of banking experience, with strong cross-border payments or transaction banking domain experience (mandatory).
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in payments, plus hands-on delivery or project management experience.
• Solid knowledge of cross-border payment flows: SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, correspondent banking, nostro/vostro, FX, sanctions and AML screening, and payment repair and reconciliation.
• Strong experience with Agile (Scrum/SAFe), Jira and Confluence, and with writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to present to senior management.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors and regulatory or audit requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SWIFT gpi, CBPR+, real-time payment schemes or regional payment linkages.
• Exposure to payments platforms and vendors (e.g., Finastra, Temenos, Volante, ACI).
• CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience in digital channels, APIs or payment hub modernisation.
• Experience in Singapore or the Asia-Pacific region.
