Job Summary

Capsurance Insurance Broker Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and experienced Underwriter with expertise in Employee Benefits (EB) and/or Non-Employee Benefits (Non-EB). The ideal candidate will be responsible for underwriting, insurer coordination, quotation management, policy placement, and providing technical support to the business team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle underwriting for Non-EB products.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, negotiations, and policy placement.
• Analyze client requirements and prepare underwriting submissions.
• Compare quotations and recommend suitable coverage.
• Manage policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and servicing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure timely turnaround and quality service to clients.
• Maintain accurate underwriting records and documentation.
• Monitor portfolio performance, loss ratios, and overall risk quality.
• Turnaround time (TAT) for quotations and underwriting decisions.
• Accuracy of documentation and policy issuance.

Eligibility

• 3–9 years of experience in underwriting.
• Prior experience with an Insurance Broker or Insurance Company is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting processes and insurance products.
• Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualification

• Graduate (Insurance certifications will be an added advantage.)
