• Ability to assess information quickly, filter out rumors, and make fast, accurate editorial choices under pressure.
• Exceptional multitasking skills to field phone calls, communicate with reporters in the field, and relay updates to the control
• Assign reporters, anchors, and camera crews to specific locations or beats for daily coverage.
• Lead daily editorial meetings to pitch stories, evaluate the priority of leads, and coordinate coverage plans with producers.
