Motor Claims Assessor

Role & responsibilities

• Process and monitor all claims to meet departmental performance metrics and timelines.
• Track and minimize claims leakage through timely corrective actions.
• Survey and process motor claims in the assigned location, ensuring settlement within defined TAT.
• Contact every claimant to understand claim details and update all information accurately in the system.
• Implement lossminimization measures and negotiate fair repair costs to control claim expenses.
• Conduct strict scrutiny of external surveyor assessments to prevent inaccurate or false claims.
• Adhere strictly to approved financial authority levels for assessment certification and claim approval.
• Update indemnity and expense reserves in the system within TAT as per SOP and ensure timely monitoring of delivery orders and costcontrol measures for all assessor files.

Preferred candidate profile

Engineer in Automobile or Mechanical and wanting to pursue a career in the General Insurance Insustry.

Candidate must have completed his engineering in the year 2026
