Role Description The Mobile Van Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a mobile van used for outreach, services, or promotional activities. This role involves planning routes and schedules, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring the van is properly maintained, stocked, and compliant with safety regulations. The Mobile Van Manager monitors performance metrics, manages documentation, and handles basic administrative tasks related to vehicle usage, staffing, and reporting. This position also includes supervising on-ground staff, supporting customer or community interactions, and resolving operational issues in real time. The role requires hands-on involvement, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving to keep mobile operations efficient and reliable.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations or field management, preferably involving vehicle or mobile unit coordination.
• Knowledge of basic logistics, route planning, and on-ground execution in urban environments.
• Ability to supervise on-site staff, coordinate schedules, and manage day-to-day activities independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders, customers, and team members.
• Comfort with maintaining records, preparing simple reports, and adhering to safety and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with Bengaluru South geography and willingness to work predominantly on-site.
• Basic computer literacy for email, spreadsheets, and mobile applications used in operations.
• Prior experience in customer service, community outreach, or event management is an advantage.
• Relevant education or training in logistics, operations, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
