Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Civil to lead and manage construction projects for hospital facilities and retail pharmacy outlets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare infrastructure and retail fit-outs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with architects, consultants, hospital administration, and retail teams to align project objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare building codes, fire safety norms, and pharmacy retail regulations.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality assurance protocols.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports, cost analyses, and timelines to senior management.
• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to achieve project milestones.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering (Master s preferred).
• Experience: 8 12 years of civil project management experience, with at least 3 5 years in hospital or retail construction.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and construction management software.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare infrastructure requirements, HVAC, MEP coordination, and pharmacy layouts.
• Languages: Must be fluent in Hindi and English (Tamil proficiency is an added advantage).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment

• Location: Chennai, with frequent travel to project sites.
• Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility for extended hours during critical project phases.
