Role Description The Manager (Electrical Design) is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur, responsible for leading electrical design activities for Ash Handling, Industrial / Pneumatic conveying projects etc.

· Complete Design of Electrical System for EPC Project / Preparation and Approval Engineering Drawing documents from Client or Consultant on proper Time Schedule / Specification.

. The role includes preparing electrical design layouts, single-line diagrams, and specifications for power distribution, control panels, and instrumentation systems in accordance with relevant standards and safety regulations.

· Preparation of Electrical Equipments / Review and Approval of Vendor Drawing for the Electrical Equipments like HT Panel, MCC Panel, Transformer, HT/LT Motor, HT/LT Cable, Earthing and Illumination Materials etc.

· Proper Coordination with Site Team for Installation and Commissioning of the Supplied Electrical Systems

· Tender BOQ Preparation and Estimation of the Electrical System / Manpower Handling.

· Preparation of Load List as per Project Requirement, System Fault Level Analysis, Transformer Sizing Calculation, HT& LT Power Cable Sizing Calculation, Preparation of Electrical Single Line Diagram, Capacitor Bank Sizing Calculation, DG Sizing Calculation,

· Complete Knowledge on HT/ MCC Panel Schematic Drawing, Knowledge on CT, PT, Relay, Circuit Breaker etc., Relay Setting Calculation, Complete Knowledge on HT & LT Motor,

· Preparation of Electrical Cable Tray Layout Drawing, Preparation of Earthing Design Calculation along with Complete Layout Design, Preparation of Illumination Design Calculation along with Complete Layout Design, Lightning Protection Calculation etc.

. The position also includes guiding junior engineers, resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning, supporting preventive and corrective maintenance planning, and participating in project meetings and client discussions.

Qualifications

. BE (Eletical) with 15 years experience.

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering for industrial projects.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Power Distribution and Electricity principles, including safety and regulatory compliance.
• Candidates should possess experience in Electrical Maintenance for plant equipment and systems.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in electrical design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, E-Plan, or similar) and familiarity with applicable codes and standards (such as IEC/IS standards).
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, lead small technical teams, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
• Experience in industrial, process, or material handling plants is beneficial; prior leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
