Major Account Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage high-value, strategic Central Government accounts.
• Partner with account CXOs and their teams to identify new opportunities while protecting and growing the existing business.
• Drive account management and planning using MEDDPICC principles.
• Play a key role in complex deals and decision-making processes.
• Engage the right stakeholders to enable thought-leadership discussions.
• Build trusted relationships by acting as a proactive problem solver.
• Collaborate effectively as a team player.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reporting.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table

• 15–18 years of experience in government account management and IT sales.
• At least 5 years of experience working with the Ministry of Defence and/or Ministry of Home Affairs.
• Proven, hands-on track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication skills and a confident professional presence.
• Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required.
