Role Description The Maintenance Mechanic role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nemili. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to corrective maintenance requests, and assisting with equipment installation and commissioning. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities, collaborating with production teams to address equipment issues, and following safety and compliance guidelines. The Maintenance Mechanic will work closely with supervisors to prioritize work orders, maintain tools and parts inventory, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair for industrial machinery.
• Experience with Corrective Maintenance, including diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs.
• Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance practices, such as routine inspections, servicing, and component replacement.
• Background in Industrial Maintenance, including working with mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and basic electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and safe use of tools and equipment.
• Relevant technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work in shifts or extended hours as needed to support production requirements.
