Job Title: Buyside Investment Research Analyst

About the Role

The Proprietary Desk at a leading AMC is looking to hire an Investment Research Analyst to support investment decision-making through in-depth fundamental research. The role involves evaluating listed companies, generating investment ideas, and supporting portfolio managers with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed fundamental research on companies across sectors
• Build and maintain financial models, valuation frameworks, and investment notes
• Generate high-conviction investment ideas for the proprietary portfolio
• Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, and company developments
• Participate in management meetings, earnings calls, and channel checks
• Prepare investment memos and periodic research updates for the investment team
• Support the portfolio manager in portfolio monitoring and performance analysis

Candidate Profile

• 36 years of experience in equity research or investment analysis
• Solid financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, relative valuation, scenario analysis)
• Ability to independently analyze businesses and develop investment theses
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• CFA / CA / MBA (Finance) preferred .
