Role Description This full-time Interior Designer role is an on-site position based in Nawabganj. The Interior Designer will develop concepts, layouts, and design solutions for a variety of projects, from initial client brief through to completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing space plans, construction drawings, and presentation materials; selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment); and coordinating with vendors, contractors, and consultants. The role involves conducting site visits, taking measurements, overseeing design implementation, and ensuring that work aligns with project specifications, budgets, and timelines. The Interior Designer will collaborate with the studio team, participate in client meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into practical, visually appealing solutions.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles and building standards, enabling effective collaboration with architects and construction teams.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for contractors and vendors.
• Experience in FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, and accessories aligned with project concepts and budgets.
• Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Ability to use design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools), plus strong hand-sketching and visualization skills.
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and collaboration skills, with attention to detail and time management.
• Prior on-site project coordination experience and familiarity with local construction practices in Nawabganj or surrounding areas.
