Head of Supply Chain Management for a Broadband Company, Mumbai

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SCM Head to lead and manage the Pan-India Supply Chain function, covering Procurement, Warehousing, Logistics and Inventory Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Pan-India SCM operations across procurement, warehouse and logistics.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies for network, infrastructure and operational requirements.
• Manage vendor selection, negotiations, contracts, cost optimisation and supplier performance.
• Oversee central and regional warehouses, inventory planning, stock accuracy and material availability.
• Manage logistics and transportation operations across India, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of materials.
• Drive inventory optimisation, demand planning and supply continuity.
• Establish SCM processes, SOPs, KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Ensure effective coordination with Finance, Network, Projects, Operations and Business teams.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement and supply-chain efficiency.
• Lead and develop the Pan-India SCM team.

Requirements

Desired Profile

• 15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably within Broadband, Telecom, ISP or Infrastructure.
• Strong experience managing Procurement, Warehousing & Logistics at a Pan-India level.
• Proven expertise in vendor management, negotiations, inventory control and cost optimisation.
• Strong leadership, analytical, commercial and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience managing large teams and multi-location operations.
• Candidates currently based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai preferred
