Head of Compensation and Benefits

Head of Compensation & Benefits is a permanent, full-time COE leadership role based in Singapore with a primary focus on the APAC region. The position is responsible for driving total rewards strategy across a complex international footprint within a structured HR function. It may oversee a small team of direct reports (typically 1–2) and support capability building and execution of compensation and benefits processes.

The role will lead the compensation and benefits agenda in a multi-market environment, delivering end-to-end compensation programs such as salary benchmarking, incentive design, and annual reward cycles. Strong stakeholder management is essential, along with prior regional experience across APAC markets, with an emphasis on Southeast Asia exposure including Malaysia and Indonesia. The successful candidate is expected to provide strategic rewards advisory to core APAC markets while navigating organizational complexity across multiple geographies and joint ventures.

Ideal candidates typically have 12–16 years of experience in compensation and benefits, ideally within large multinational organizations. A blended background across rewards consulting and in-house corporate experience is advantageous, supported by a track record managing APAC scope and executing compensation strategy. Experience in matrixed, complex organizations—potentially including workforces that span both white- and blue-collar populations—and exposure related to mergers and acquisitions may be beneficial for success.
