Job Description

• Build and establish the L&D function from scratch, defining the learning strategy, structure, processes and execution roadmap for the GCC.
• Design and execute technical, functional and behavioural learning programs across functions
• Partner with HRBPs and functional leaders to identify current and future skill gaps and translate them into structured capability-building interventions.
• Drive both strategy and hands-on execution, including personally leading interventions and leveraging external learning partners where required.
• Create structured learning journeys with approximately 70% focus on junior and mid-level employees and 30% on senior leadership.
• Build and run programs for first-line managers and mid-management, covering people management, coaching, feedback, performance conversations and managerial effectiveness.
• Design interventions around customer-centricity, collaboration, ownership and common ways of working, supporting integration of employees coming from different organizational backgrounds.
• Drive leadership development interventions for emerging and senior leaders, including relevant assessments, coaching and development programs.
• Evaluate and strengthen the digital learning ecosystem, including LMS/LXP platforms, digital learning and self-directed learning solutions.
• Manage external trainers, learning partners and vendors while retaining ownership of program design, execution and outcomes.
• Establish clear L&D KPIs and effectiveness measures covering engagement, capability improvement, program impact and ROI.
• Build a culture of continuous learning and development suited to a rapidly scaling GCC environment.

The Successful Applicant

• Around 10-12 years of experience in Learning & Development, with greater emphasis on relevant capability and experience than tenure alone.
• Strong exposure to both L&D strategy and hands-on program execution.
• Prior experience within a GCC, GBS or Shared Services environment, which would be strongly preferred.
• Candidates from large MNC environments with comparable scale, complexity and capability-building exposure may also be considered.
• Experience building or significantly transforming an L&D framework, function or capability agenda.
• Strong exposure to developing junior talent, first-line managers and mid-management populations.
• Experience designing behavioural and culture-building interventions around customer-centricity, managerial effectiveness and ways of working.
• Exposure to leadership development programs, although deep specialization in this area is not essential.
• Familiarity with LMS/LXP platforms, digital learning tools and external learning ecosystems.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with HRBPs, business leaders and senior stakeholders.
• A strong builder mindset, coupled with the ability to move seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
