Role Description The General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Visakhapatnam.

The General

Manager will oversee daily operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and coordination between departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services. This role involves managing budgets, monitoring key performance indicators, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

The General

Manager will lead and develop teams, support talent management, and foster a safe, compliant workplace aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role also includes maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers, supporting business development initiatives, and contributing to strategic planning and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or refractory-related sectors.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, including team building, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Proficiency in business planning, budgeting, and financial analysis to drive sustainable growth.
• Ability to manage cross-functional collaboration across production, sales, procurement, and quality assurance.
• Solid understanding of safety standards, compliance requirements, and industrial best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with internal and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience working on-site in an industrial or plant environment and readiness to be based full time in Visakhapatnam.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
